2018 Women Motocross World Championship kicks off this weekend at Trentino, Italy pitching fever pace of who’s who to win the coveted WMX Series at MXGP Round 4.

Battle up front will be paramount, with only 6 Rounds to gain valuable points on the Championship table, Women will be pushed to maintain momentum from April through to Final Round in September.

Italian 5x WMX Champion Kiara Fontanesi will be force to be reckoned with, carrying 5 Women MX World Titles along with racing 3 home country tracks in WMX Series: Arco di Trento, Ottobiano and Imola.

Adds to the pressure for sure, boosts enjoyability yes! bonus heaps of fans cheering track-side!

NZ’s Courtney Duncan will be fighting for top WMX Title honours. With 2 WMX seasons under her belt, too many so close but not close enough results Duncan will come out no holds barred making every start, corner, lap, Race count for the win.

Dutch star Nancy Van de Ven will be pushed to make up for lost bike-time post recovery from unfortunate injury early in year. Van de Ven has always shown courage in face of adversity, the 6 Round-spread-out Series will suit #85’s build-up to Race -mode fitness.

Up-coming talented riders will vie for time up-front, nothing to lose and all to gain. KTM Silver Action rider Amandine Verstappen put in stellar performance taking a Race win in WMX Round 4, 2017 and Suzuki rider Larissa Papenmeier gained credible Race 2nd at Assen WMX Round 2017.

With the prominence of Women Motorsport Athletes gaining long-time-coming traction within the sport, giving fans and viewers inspiration on ‘if you love what you do, nothing is impossible’ 2018 Women Motocross World Championships should not be missed.

It will come down to last Race, last Lap, last Corner come September 30th.
