Assen MX Euro: Race Report Josiah Natzke 125cc

NZ’s Josiah Natzke Race 1 was always going to be a leveller on a track newly built for MXGP: MX Euro Final Round with Natzke keeping it safe finishing 10th from 25th around hole-shot corner.

In a test of apprehension with only 1 point difference going into this weekend, Josiah gained confidence towards the latter laps of Race 1, picking smoother lines, passing and maintaining focus where many riders struggled.

With Team-mate Jorge Prado extending his points lead, Josiah will take this learning curve on board as he stands 2nd Overall with a 15 point gap going into Race 2 tomorrow morning.

Track best described as a feat in itself built by NZ’s Greg Atkins makes a 30 minute moto a challenging yet unpredictable contest with its choppy sections of rollers, table-tops, chicane, and 180 corners on sand.

Natzke will go into Race 2 full of what he has learnt through-out his debut season in EMX 125cc MX Euro Championships 2015.
