Camelia Liparoti and Annett Fischer compete in 2021 Dakar Rally in SSV category

Camelia Liparoti will pair for 2nd consecutive year with Annett Fischer contesting 2021 Dakar Rally in SSV category. Having experienced plenty of challenges racing Dakar Rally 2020, the ‘Legend’ Camelia and co-pilot Annett, remain committed to complete unfinished business from taking ‘wild-card’ and crossing finish-line under Dakar Experience category earlier this year.

With 10 Dakar’s to Camelia’s lengthy resume, along with Annett’s own driving and navigating skills in Rally’s, racing their YXZ1000R with Team team X-Raid Yamaha Racing Rally will most certainly provide all important support over course of 12 Stages.

Announced recently, 2021 Dakar Rally route will start on January 3rd from Jeddah with early Stages traversing terrain inland and special timed stages testing technical abilities of rider and drivers racing to half-way point at Ha’il. Rest day on January 9th will provide all competitors much needed time to re-set and re-stoke energy levels for completing the final Stages finishing at Jeddah on January 15th.

Known for Camelia’s signature of ‘pink’ trimmings on car, gear and helmet, the 6x Cross-Country World Champion nicely compliments the expertise and experience of Annett to make redemption a possible objective in just over 5 weeks time.
