Dylan Walsh wins 2019 British MX2 Championship with superb 1-1 at Final Round at Landrake, UK

Dylan Walsh achieved major victory winning 2019 Maxxis ACU British MX Championship MX2 Title at the Final Round 8 of the season at Landrake Moto Parc, Cornwall at the weekend.

Capping off sensational performance in the British National Championship Series, Dylan out-classed all competitors winning Rounds 6, 7 and 8 with perfect 1-1 scores finishing top of the table on 343 points over Revo Husqvarana UK team-mate Alvin Ostland on 312. Honda’s Josh Gilbert completed 3rd podium Overall on 284.

Totally happy with the British MX2 Championship Title, Dylan takes pride on what he has achieved in long-hard-slog season racing 2 Series in MXGP Rounds in Europe, fly-away’s and Britain.

#53: It was perfect day. Qualified first, 2 hole-shots, 2 wins’.

‘2nd race was actually really good. I was a lot more relaxed after the first race, so I just rode my own race and it worked out perfect. Brilliant day!’

With Team support racing under Revo Husqvarna UK run by Sam Yates and father Mark Yates, along with close friends and family the victory truely reflects how hard Dylan worked to achieve goals set at the beginning of the season.

#53: ‘Yeah, we finally did it. It was a Team effort so we all deserve it so I’m just happy to live it’.

With Dylan’s focus switched to racing MXoN this weekend as Team rider for NZ, there is definitely air of anticipation on Dylan’s ability to match the rest of the world’s MX2 rider’s in the most massive event on the Motocross calendar for 2019.
