On points over 4 Rounds, #423 has scored: 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 2nd and 2nd. Impressive, given the German rider was standing 3rd Overall in 2018 WMX Championship 30 points behind top spot.

And that’s not all having recently won 2019 German Women MX Championship with race to spare, Larissa relishes extra race-time in preparation for WMX Series.

#423: ‘Yes I won the German Championship for Women and the races went perfect for me. I won all the races and got the Championship with one race to go.

‘Which is really good as I’m missing the last one as I will be in Shanghai. Even if there is not big competition for me I’m still pushing really hard. I’m setting my own goals after timed practice to see how far I can lap, that’s my goal. So it is definitely good training’.

Working hard to achieve right balance between perfect bike set-up, perfect level of fitness, mental focus as solid as ever, Larissa proves when everything is in sync: mind, bike, body enjoyment levels rise to produce results on track.

#423: ‘Yes I am really happy as I have a good team behind me. And after bad times are always good times. I have a good bike and set-up and I really have fun riding. So I guess everything comes together to make it a good mood’.

At pinnacle of 2019 WMX Championship with Final Round in few days time, Larissa focuses on holding 2nd place Overall before heading to MXGP of China where #423 will line-up in MX2 class.

#423: ‘I’ve trained hard and a lot to be fit for the last WMX race in Turkey. My main focus is to keep the second place. But anything can happy but I’m ready for it’.

‘It has been a really good season so far and I’m happy to get all the support and also to race MX2 in Shanghai’.

‘Most pleasing is the support from my team with my mechanic Bogo, his wife Oda and my boyfriend Don. They offer a lot and I really appreciate that. I still have a dream to become World Champion and I haven’t given up on that yet. So I will be there…also next year’.

2019 WMX Final Round MXGP of Turkey September 7-8th.
