2021 Women Motocross World Championship Profile: Larissa Papenmeier has accomplished huge achievements in her racing career finishing WMX Championship 3rd Overall consecutively in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Stand-out performances in 2020 WMX season was most certainly taking Round 2 Overall win at Valkenswaard to then back up with second win in Round 3 at Mantova- and taking the Red Plate.

With all important experience racing WMX Championship for total of 14 seasons, there is no doubt the Team Yamaha Racing 423 rider tackles each and every race with same determination, commitment and enthusiasm to enjoy the victories along with tackle the all consuming challenges of racing WMX.

Currently standing 5th Overall in 2021 WMX Championship, Lare has proved consistency of results remain key in 6 Round Series, especially when Practice, Timed Practice, Race 1 and Race 2 are all on same day.

All of which begs the question: how does Lare sustain focus, physical fitness, and mental aptitude through-out a season, especially when 2021 WMX started very late in July, compared to traditional Opening Round in March, and Final Round end of October.

From holding Red Plate in 2020, to racing MX2 in China in 2019, to helping nurture younger rider’s develop talent on track- Larissa commands utmost respect for all she has contributed to elevating the profile of FIM Women Motocross World Championship.
