In 3rd season racing single-seaters, Bruna has proven record of vigilent, determined racing prowess moving up points table from 21st in her rookie Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship campaign in 2017, to 16th in same Series 2018, to 8th Overall in America’s  inaugural Championship 2019.

Having moved to central America in 2017, Bruna had already clocked up impressive array of podium finishes with transition from Karting to racing Formula 4 in South America. No doubt, 5 podiums and top-10 finishes in 18 of 20 races in 2016 bodes super well for being selected for WSeries 2020.

Bruna: ‘For me this oppportunity is the chance of my life to keep racing at a high level, to learn a lot and to keep pursuing my dreams’.

Making switch to testing WSeries race car Tatuus F3 T-318 at Almeria, Spain end of September, Bruna not only adapted with accustomed driver racing skills but also impressed the selectors.

Bruna: ‘The three days of testing was very intense and competitive. The track evaluation and several evaluations outside track-testing were learning experiences for me.  I think the biggest challenge for me was understanding the car, because I had never driven the WSeries car before. But it was just the adaptation time and when I got the hang of the car I did a good job’.

‘The car is very good, I really loved the car. It’s a current car with good downforce and fast. It is a little bit different than the car I use to race this year in USF2000, but I loved. After the adaptation I could improve more and more’.

Racing 2019 USF2000 Championship under the well respected and prominent Pabst Racing Team, has certainly pushed Bruna’s performance level up to new heights- all encompassed within Bruna’s inspiring drive to achieve top results on the track.

Bruna: ‘My inspiration comes from Ayrton Senna. As a Brazilian and driver and as the World Champion, he inspires myself a lot. And Bia Figueiredo, a Brazilian driver as well. She raced in Indy car and she still inspires me’.

With confirmation on driver selection for WSeries 2020 in place, along with excellent racing year results, Bruna is more than ready to take on board 2020 exciting opportunity with vengence.

Bruna: ‘Preparation, I’m already working on my phisical fitness and knowledge, to be the most prepared for when the season begins!’
