We had to cut one in two to cover the last 50 kilometres, at almost snails pace, but the main thing is we reached the finish-line this evening. Anyway, I’ll get to the finish, even if I have to push the car’.

Fernanda Kanno is competing in 3rd Dakar Rally having overcome challenges of mechanical issues in 2018, to finish 2019 P3 in 4×4 class. Dakar Rally 2020 enters new territory outside Fernanda’s home country of Peru, which is just how the driver likes it. ‘Best love is racing in sand dunes. I love the sand dunes and that is where I am most comfortable. I love the desert. For me it is like paradise’. Dakar Rally count-down January 5th to 17th.
