Andrea Dovizioso commenting on frustration of racing at MotoGP Misano- concern over tyres: ”’I keep studying the data from Bagnaia who rides this bike with these tyres in a different way than the others. He brakes less and later, applies less pressure and enters the corners fast. It’s a different thing from what we did before. He is doing it very well and making a difference”‘.

Maverick Vinales on taking the win at MotoGP Misano: ‘”I was very happy about qualifying yesterday…and today I kept very consistent rhythm and especially at the start of the race I pushed quite hard to break from the group.”‘

Sara Garcia finishing 2nd podium at FIM Baja World Championship Round One in Portugal: ‘In the first 80kms special the terrain played into my favour, they were quite fast tracks and the grip was incredible. Although at first it took me a bit to get a feel for the Portuguese terrain (quite different from where we usually train), finally I was able to squeeze a small advantage in my pocket’.

Damon Rees: racing Bennetts British SBK Championship Superstock 1000: ‘I still think I’m struggling with track knowledge, but, as I do more and more laps, I continue to learn. I’m not disappointed at all, but I do expect a lot more – that’s what makes me a racer! 💯.

WMX top Women riders giving back to their sport: Kiara Fontanesi established MXFonta Racing, Larissa Papenmeier Team Yamaha Racing #423, Nancy Van de Ven as coach at training session and Courtney Duncan meeting local school children.

Shane Richardson: racing Bennetts British SBK Championship under Astro JJR Racing: ‘I’d have to say I expected a bit more of myself coming into Oulton Park round as I had success there last year and had a good sense of what I needed to improve my riding’.

‘Pretty quickly I learned that the Oulton Park circuit is a different animal aboard the 1000cc machine so it was still a lot of re-learning’.
