Completing 2020 WMX was as tantalizing close as it gets, finishing tied in points on 207 with Courtney Duncan – only to have count-back of how many wins apiece determine Duncan as Overall WMX Champion. Bitter sweet moment for Nancy for sure, as #85 won the final race of the season on the hard-pack circuit of Trentino.

Switch-back to 2016, 2018 and 2019, each season Nancy has finished 2nd Overall on WMX podium. Most convincing of dogged determination to prove her worth on the track were haul of wins in ‘016, making it count taking final race victory in front of home crowd at Assen while Livia Lancelot took Overall Championship.

2018 WMX season was nail-biting affair, with Overall Championship win coming down to final race at Imola. Battle royal ensured between Italian Kiara Fontanesi and Nancy, with Fontanesi taking the Title going 2-1 over Nancy’s 1-2 in final race.

2019 WMX season proved how far the world’s best MX Women riders had developed talents, race-craft and technique on tracks which varied from black sands of Valkenswaard, to red clay of Agueda in Portugal, to hard-pack tracks at Loket, Imola and Turkey. Nancy’s strength and talent for getting jump on the gate, late breaking at hole-shot, and no-holds-barred at creating gap out front meant race win at Opening Round. No-mistakes was the motto for ‘019 where no margin of error was allowed over mere 5 Rounds. ‘019 was stellar season for Duncan, who remained dominant winning 9 out of 10 races taking the Overall WMX Championship with Nancy runner-up.

Backed by committed Team, crew, family, and friends, Nancy has everything in place to taste much anticipated feeling of winning WMX Championship Title for the first time.
